WILL OBAMA GET LATINOS?

President Obama’s surprise announcement of de facto amnesty for children of illegal immigrants who have graduated from high school and have lived in the U.S. for five years will reap big dividends among Latino voters. So intertwined is the Hispanic community that everyone knows young people who will be spared the ongoing terror of deportation by the president’s largesse. His new policy, while obviously an election year pander, will reap him votes among Latinos and could spur a significantly higher turnout.
All this makes the case for Senator Marco Rubio for Vice President all the more urgent. Only a Latino on the ticket can offset the march Obama has now stolen on Romney for the Hispanic vote. Rubio on the ticket could well make the difference between carrying and losing New Mexico, Colorado, and Nevada. And, it could possibly be necessary even in Florida.
Unlike the African-American population, the Latino vote is heavily concentrated in certain states. Seventy-five percent live in only five states – California, Texas, Florida, New York, and Illinois – which together have only about a third of our total population. More are concentrated in Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Nevada. Their populations in these states are significant enough, in some cases, to deliver the state to one side or the other.
Rubio belongs on the ticket. He is articulate, conservative, hard working, charismatic, and geographically well positioned. With the Hispanic vote so pivotal in the future of our politics, he offers the best potential for a growing Republican Party in the future.
Obama can hardly object to Rubio’s inexperience since they will both have served only a few years in the Senate before their elevation to national office. But Rubio would run for vice-president not president. The years of seasoning and training can only do him good and groom him for ultimately running for the top job.
Selecting Rubio was important before. It’s vital now.

Mark Rubio great choice, also Scott Walker great choice.
Mr. Rosales, great post and I completely agree. As my father always said: “Give a Rat a Cookie and He will want a glass of milk”, where does it all end.
I offer the following on all entitlements:
ObamaCare and the General Welfare Clause
The phrase “general welfare” had a completely different meaning when the Constitution was drafted and ratified than it has now. The framers of the Constitution understood the phrase to mean a state of general wellbeing for the entire country. The general welfare clause does not grant congress the power to spend any money. This clause is Article 1 Section 8 Clause 1 and it authorizes Congress to collect various forms of taxes for the purpose of paying debts, for the common defense of the country, and for the over all well being of the country as a whole. The powers to spend this tax revenue are spelled out in the reaming 17 clauses of Article 1 Section 8. None of the remaining 17 clauses of Section 8 authorize congress to give this money to individuals in the form of entitlements such as ObamaCare.
Since the Social Security Act was passed in 1935 the general welfare clause has been used to justify every single entitlement. None of these entitlements are authorized by the general welfare clause. The power to confiscate wealth from individuals in the form of taxes and redistribute this wealth in the form of entitlements was left by the framers of the Constitution in the hands of the States. None of the enumerated powers of the Constitution, including the general welfare clause, grant the federal government this power. Since the power is not granted to the federal government it must remain with the States just as the Tenth Amendment declares, ObamaCare violates the Tenth Amendment by taxing one group of individuals and giving that money to another group of individuals in the form of entitlements.
any port in a storm, all is fair in love and war, make no mistake obama is at war with the america people who will not bow to his demands, so by giving illegals a way to become citizens or any other way to bring and keep them in the us he WILL do, anything for a vote. And face illegals are here nd more coming with more protection for them every day, whit we need is a president who will stop the entilements to those people that will not work and now know they never have to work and there children will follow in ther foot steps, stop entilements and force people to go and do the jobs that illegals are doing now and they will have no reason to come here, all we need is a great leader again in these country, someone both parties will vote for ,american people want to here that we will once again have a tax credit for our propety tax, make privet school fees partly deductable, tax paid on auto large applance deductable, health ins ,obama care or no obama TAX DEDUCTABLE, and more, how could either party vote no ? but we all know for sure nothing has been working and it would put the left in a hard spot trying shut these objective down.Scott Walker has a great victory under his belt & I dont hear a lot of cheers for him, Obama has another great victory today in destroying america and I here a lot of cheering for him, but 2016 or 2012 V.P Scott Walker is my hope,
Look, Obama is a sneaky person. He is giving these illegal kids two years to turn in their parents while giving the government their and their parents names, address and work place. In two years we should have the info on most illegals and then they can be rounded up much easier. Novel thought, don’t you think.
