Proud Texans Protest Congressman Doggett
Tuesday, August 4th, 2009In Austin, Congressman Doggett got an earful from a group of Texans who are fed up with the government trying to take over health care and ruin it. He complained that people not from his district were there (guess we don’t have 1st amendment rights). Congressman Doggett also accused the protesters of being part of an organized effort by the Republican and Libertarian parties. I guess only the Democrats can have a real grassroots movement according to the congressman’s “logic”.
