The San Antonio Tea Party and all patriots deplore Saturday’s tragedy that has to date claimed 6 lives and wounded another 14.  Beyond the personal grief we share as humans, as Americans committed to rule of law we find all such violence deplorable, an attack on our system as well as individuals.  Violence, whether the act of politically disgruntled or (as it appears in this case) the mentally deranged, has no place in the American culture.  Acknowledging all life as precious, we grieve these inhuman acts toward those well known and those lesser known, those younger and those older.  To the families and friends of those killed, we offer our sincere condolences; to those wounded, we offer our prayers and hopes for speedy and full recoveries.  We further pray for the safety of all elected officials as they discharge their Constitutional duties.
